christmas Traditions

We love christmas and enjoy spending all the time with family. This year we have started something new which I have really enjoyed and think will only get better as the kids get older. We have taken each kid out on there own and they get to pick where we eat and then shop for their sibilings and the cousin that picked for christmas. Then we get to see all that they want their siblings to buy for them. Zarley pretty much just wanted to buy her self everything and she chose Red Lobster for dinner, Owen didnt so much get it he did however choose like 10 things he wanted to buy for jackson and himself, mike chose Olive Garden for him. Winter ate at Bonsai and she was the best at trying to pick for others and the worst and the whole budget thing everything she want to buy was very expensive. I think she thinks money grows on trees.
Xavier just went along on every trip Lucky guy!

This weekend we get to try to finish shopping on our own wont that be fun. Then on the other night we are going to try to do the whole lights thing Yea!

Another tradition I really love is Christmas morning breakfast my parents usually come and bring the kids there gifts and see what the kids got, then move on to the next house. lucky for them its just across the street. And Josh and Audrey are out this way to, Josh a few streets over and Audrey a few minutes down the road. Now Andrew and Shawna will be up the road so if Troy stays there they can hit all the grandkids real easy. Anyway I really like this because it reminds me of being little and my grandma coming over christmas morining to do the same thing with us minus the breakfast.
